Jeff Wright, a Southern Baptist pastor in Tennessee, came on the show this week to talk with Josh and Timon about rural ministry, seminary training, and the future of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Jeff Wright has served as the Pastor of Midway Baptist Church in Cookeville, Tenn., since 2011. He holds an M.A.R. from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. His vocational ministry is aimed at maturing Christians in healthy churches making disciples for the good of their neighbors and the glory of Christ. In addition to church service he has worked in classical Christian education and as an adjunct professor of hermeneutics for Bryan College of Dayton, Tenn. Jeff is married to Christie and they have four children.
